We’ve got the Jazz

A personal exercise in creating dynamic titles using Adobe Illustrator + After Effects.

Starting with an archived performance of Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers found on Youtube, the footage was separated into workable clips then developed an animated sequence akin to an opening title sequence.

A fresh start - Maverick Survival

Breaking down the design process of the Maverick Logo.

This logo was designed and animated as part of a larger branding project, alongside visual assets + promotional material for The Maverick Survival School, to support and increase engagement with the business as it develops.

Move the Mountains

An example of Logo motion design created after developing a series of logos for a fictional Outdoor Clothing / Equipment brand, “Transarc”.

Basic storyboarding / animation phases were drafted on pencil and paper, reproduced in Illustrator, then brought to life in After Effects.
