Breaking down walls

The following illustrations were created for a client’s upcoming book project.

Covering various topics related to mental health, sexuality, diet and self worth, these illustrations will serve as a visual summary for the end of each chapter.

In order to settle on a direction for the artwork, different styles were experimented with and discussed with the Author, this process can be seen below.

Exploring Options

After reading through the chapter, various ideas / images are sketched out. The strengths and weakness of each compositon are discussed with the author, once the strongest elements are decided upon, work begins on finalising the image.

Space Cowboy

Below are a selection of illustrations ( as well as early tests ) from “Sosmonaut The Cosmonaut”, a three issue comic series written by Nathan Langridge, designed / drawn / coloured by myself.
